The room was beautiful I love the walk in shower it was so huge. Service was wonderful. The valet parking is mandatory however whenever I called for my car it was always there waiting for me. The restaurant was very overpriced so I only have an appetizer it was good though. I also ordered a coffee from the coffee shop and it was good. I would stay here again for the amazing room.

Hotel Indigo fills a much needed gap in the Traverse City hotel scene. The rooftop deck is wonderful - we were there for a wedding - and is perfect spot for a private party. If you are looking for a spot to host a rehearsal dinner, a welcome party, or a small reception I would definitely check it out. The views of east bay are incredible. It is nestled in near the new Traverse City warehouse district, which has a variety of bars and restaurants which are all walkable, and is

Very nice hotel with modern design, clean and spacious rooms and great service. Good food and drinks on site as well. There is an awesome rooftop bar and grill, and it is in an excellent location downtown. Downsides were minor, but it was valet only parking, and the valet wasn't as attentive as you would expect for a place that forces you to use it. It is in a developing block, so some of the views are good and others really are not. All in all it was a great visit that I would recommend in the future!

My recent visit to Hotel Indigo in Traverse City left me with mixed feelings. As a new hotel I was very excited about visiting the property. I've stayed at several hotels in Traverse City and was excited to try something new and different. I reserved our room 6 weeks in advance, calling the reservation central location on two occasions to request a bay side view. My husband had never been to Traverse City and I was excited for him to have an enjoyable time. Upon check in we were greeted by Lori and Eric. Lori was ready to give us a warehouse view room (facing the back of the property). I explained to Lori that I had requested a bay side view. Eric stepped in and said I did not request such room. After going back and forth I called another hotel property to see if they had availability. I refused to pay at the rate I was paying to view the warehouse//street view. Eric gave mixed information on more than one occasion; the hotel was sold out and no other rooms were available to the only room available was one suite at $1100 per night to I moved some guest around and was able to get you into a partial warehouse partial bay side view room. After check in we noticed two couples who checked in hours later enter two separate bay side rooms on the 4th floor. I went online and called the central office to confirm if the hotel was sold out, which it was not. I also took pictures at 7:30am during my morning walk of the front and rooms had open curtains on the bay side view indicating the property was not sold out. I then approached the desk and was greeted by Krystal, who was just as rude. She said while the hotel was not sold out we were already given an accommodation and there would be no further exceptions. I said the room we have is not what I requested and they did not give us any exceptions. I am a VP of National Training for a global organization where we pride in customer service. While we are African American I won't quickly rush to play the race card, but simply state this is more of a customer service issue. We live in an industry where people have choices, other opportunities, and companies have competition. I don't have to settle where I chose to spend my hard earned money. In the event an error was made offer concessions, apologize for the inconvenience. Don't just be rude, lie and non accommodating. I do NOT appreciate the service I received. I am highly disappointed over my stay. This was my husbands first time in Traverse City and I wanted his vacation to be memorable on the side of enjoyment, not discomfort. I am very upset at the room accommodations and to see other people granted rooms I requested was very upsetting. Thank you for ruining my stay. I just graduated with my Doctorate and was looking forward to some R&R. I am not sure if the comfortable bed, or the great shower and the nice facility itself can overshadow the poor customer service we experienced. I'm not sure if I will stay here again. One thing I will do is share my experience through every social media site and make sure my voice is heard. I thrive off of others comments. True experiences of others is how I determine where the value of my hard earned money is most appreciated. By the way, the guy in the restaurant in the morning with the glasses was the most pleasant I encountered. He and the housekeeping lady. Keep in mind the front desk is the first impression people get when they enter those doors. Who you have up front to greet those customers will make or break this hotel. Eric and Krystal were horrible. ~Dr. M

A beautifully brand new hotel with a view of the water. The staff is friendly. They are a valet only place which is included, and they are good about getting your vehicle fast. They are close to the lake, and there are multiple areas to visit within walking distance. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have two bars. One is located on top of the roof with a beautiful view.
