Love the vibe. Comfortable room of decent size. Great bathroom and good closet with a nice sitting area. Pleasant hotel staff. Nice small lobby to relax. St Charles Trolley out the front door so great location to get anywhere in the city. No hotel parking but plenty of lots and one covered parking garage within 2 blocks of the hotel. Absolutely will stay here again on a return trip.

The staff was awesome! They were so helpful and super friendly. They really made our stay perfect. They were very patient with us, and we asked the same questions over and over, being ignorant of the layout of New Orleans' trolley stops. They provided us with maps and took the time to mark on them exactly where we needed to get on and off. The concierge gave us valuable time saving information about Cafe Du Monde. The room was the cheapest they had and was small as to be expected, but very clean and comfortable. But I cannot say enough great things about the staff!

This is a great place!   Management is wonderful.  It's conveniently next to a bus stop and a street car so you don't have to try to drive! It's close enough to The french quarter yet distant enough so the noise and amount of people aren't bothersome.  The interior has a unique feel with old wooden floors and old class touches.    Our room was spacious with plenty of storage.   It's a unique building with atriums on either side with patio furniture and they are a nice place to relax   The breakfast area was huge with a lot of seating including booths.  The beds are nice and firm so we slept great.   The higher up you get the better the view of downtown.  Everyone went out of their way to help us.  The lobby has great ice water with lemons, limes and cucumbers mixed in.  It was our first stop every time we came back to our room!   Would recommend this place to everyone.

Loved the location, but front desk females were extremely rude and had no manners whatsoever. To make things even better, my gf left her watch behind and when we called, the gentleman that attended us said that in fact room service had located it and they would have it shipped immediately. After not receiving it, the person who attended us stated that the box that they had placed it in had been tampered and in appeared as if an associate might’ve taken it. Long story short, there was obviously some dishonest internal activity. We did not get the watch back, but we did get a refund back for the value of the watch itself so I appreciated that from management.

The pictures on the website make it look far nicer than it is and they don't show the area just across the circle where there appear to live a number of homeless people. However, while you aren't getting a top of the line experience, you're not paying a top of the line price. The rooms are clean and perfectly functional. The bed frame creaked when I got in, but was silent and comfortable after that. Breakfast is free and with good options. It's also walking distance to the convention center. Overall, a decent experience but it won't blow you away.
