This place is terrible. My family of four were staying in a con joined room that had windows with views of a red brick wall. That wasn't our main problem though. While my three year old and my wife we're watching TV next to the window AC unit, the outlet sparked and caught fire (photos attached). Luckily my wife kicked the plug and unplugged it from the outlet preventing a bigger fire. After calling the front desk, a lady showed up and apologized and told us she would try to find us a equal room to the split double room we had but since they we're pretty full she went to see what she could do. She came back to tell us the room we could move to was only a single room with 2 beds with again a red brick wall view. We declined because why pay the same price for less of a room after a fire? No mention of a discount or anything. We told her we are going to look for another hotel and wanted a refund but to hold on to our room for now because a lot of hotels in the area were full and we needed at least something. She was totally fine with that and told us to let her know. Luckily we found Best Western. We called up to the desk to let them know we found another place. No problem. While we we're leaving, the front desk lady said goodbye and I told her our problem with the fire is over but the fact you offered us a less of a room for the same price after a fire was unacceptable and why we ultimately decided to leave. Then she told us she wasn't going to charge us for the room! I just shook my head and left. Why only after we found another place would she mention that? Wouldn't it be good to mention that before your guest (who just had a fire in their room) finds another hotel and requests a refund? That would have helped! Honestly they really didn't care and only said that after we found and paid for another place. In conclusion, we were very disappointed considering me and my wife have stayed there once before so it HAD some good memories for us. But after this we won't bother coming back. We have now found the Best Western to be wonderful. We told them our story and they gave us two con joining rooms for the price of one. Really nice people and hotel. Really nice full hot breakfast in the morning too! We will never go back to St. Michael and will always stay at the Best Western.

A lovely place in the heart of Prescott with its early 1900-charm! Reasonably priced and with a nice complimentary full breakfast. My favorite in the area!

Economy rooms are really small. No tv's but it's a historic joint so i guess that adds to the feel. Antique elevator is spooky and awesome. Restaurant is really good and breakfast includes vouchers for the bistro. Love the history of the place and it's location can't be beat.

Went for a wedding. I was an out of town guest, and they took very good care of us. They have a fully stocked bar, but I don't drink, so when they began pouring champagne for the wedding toast I asked for sparkling apple cider. Without missing a beat, the wait staff retrieved some so I could toast with everybody else. It was a nice place with nice staff.

Loved staying at this hotel! The hotel is located in the center of the downtown area and the convenience of being in the middle of all if the fun that is Prescott can't be beat. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are some of the cleanest I've seen. If you're light sleeper ask for an inside room to avoid the street noise.
