I RECEIVED MY KEYS TO MY APARTMENT ON DECEMBER 8TH 2017 AND WAS PROMISED THAT REPAIRS WOULD BE MADE THE SAME DAY. TODAY IS DECEMBER 30TH, 2017 AND I STILL HAVEN'T MOVED IN MY PLACE BECAUSE OF REPAIRES NOT BEING MADE. MY APARTMENT IS DIRTY WITH RUST IN THE TUB AND TOILET, LEAKY SINKS IN THE KITCHEN AND BATHROOM AND THE BIGGEST, NO HEAT!!!! JUST TO NAME FEW. I BEGGED TO BE PUT IN ANOTHER UNIT THAT WAS CLEANER AND THAT WASN'T AN OPTION FOR ME AND MY DAUGHTER. MAITENANCE IS PISS POOR AND MANAGEMENT DOES NOTHING ABOUT IT. I AM SO SORRY THAT I HAVE TO PAY FOR RENT FOR A PLACE THAT I HAVEN'T LIVED IN. IF ANYONE ELSE IS GOING THROUGH THE SAME, WE NEED TO COME TOGETHER AS A WHOLE UNIT AND LET GILPIN KNOW THAT WE ARE NOT GOING TO STAND FOR LESS THAN REASONABLE ACCOMODATIONS. THE POOR, EDERLY, AND DISABLED SHOULD NOT HAVE TO LIVE THIS WAY. REALLY, NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO LIVE THIS WAY. JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE IN PUBLIC HOUSING, DOESN'T MEAN YOU HAVE TO LIVE IN THE SLUMS.
