Went to emergency room last night and the staff was quick, nice, and friendly. The nurse, tech, and both doctors, Hendrix and Wang were great. The doctor came in, spoke, asked questions and made quick decision on treatment . I would definitely go there for my emergency care. The wait time was sufficient for my problem. Rooms were clean, no smell in the emergency areas. Easy on and off access to I-10 from any direction . Plenty parking!

My husband had knee replacement surgery all went well. Staff was professional, room was nice food was so so. However, compared to the experience I had when my mother had the same surgery at a different hospital. Methodist West was pretty bare bones. At my moms joint class there was a catered meal and and film. Methodist didn't even offer a bottle of water. She had a "graduation class" (silly I know) but the patients seemed to enjoy it. Number one though the waiting room did not have a box of Kleenex! That 101 hospital stuff. I found that to be the case on every floor. This may be due to the fact they don't want germy tissues laying about. There are tissues that have anti bacterial. Cost should. Or be an issue we enough

I had a few experiences here I got an ultrasound done due to my pregnancy, the staff was great. Nice and very friendly. I was very pleased with that visit. I had to come in last night this time to labor and delivery. I was admitted from their emergency dept, they told me I'll be staying in for a day, no I was here for 2 hours. I told them my doctors name 3 times and they ended up having another doctor on file.. long story short. There was no need for me to be admitted. My doctor stated I should have never been admitted, it was a waste of my time it is 4:30 am. When the nurse came to discharge me I was sleeping, they made me go out in the waiting area to wait for my ride. Also, when removing my IV the nurse did not apply pressure put a little band aid on it and said it was fine... 30 sec later a lot of blood was coming out of my arm... They don't know what they are doing..

My wife went thru major spine surgery. 11hrs long. Staff has been great. First full day in ICU following surgery then moved upstairs to regular room. Dr Meyer and his surgical staff excellent as have nurses and PT crew. Was honored to meet Professor Xi Yong-Ming from China who sat in on surgery as well. My thanks to all involved for the kind and courteous care given to Elizabeth!!!

been multiple times over the past year and every time disappointed by the staff of the emergency waiting room ignoring and talking down to Ill and injured patients in pain having to wait to be seen. Ive been to some hole in the wall hospitals and clinics, never have I heard a nurse tell a patient to keep it down while they are puking nonstop and whaling from intense abdominal pain, mind you this is before they bothered to call the patient back for vitals an hour later. On top of which the nurse was to busy joking with her boyfriend or husband to assist patients waiting to speek to her.
