This museum is small, but it's conveniently located in the Sugar Land/Katy area. It doesn't compare to the Houston location. It's much smaller and doesn't offer good variety of exhibits. The dig pit is fun for the kids. We usually spend 1-2 hours here, specially in the summer to cool off. So, it's fun to visit but not a great place for repeat visits.

Great little museum. Not too sure how many people knpw it is here. If you are a member at the main Houston museum your pass will work here too. They have some dinosaur displays as well as other prehistoric displays. There are other great options to explore with the kids as well. Great place for a day out and the kids get to learn something as well.

This is a nice secondary museum to the one downtown. They have a few dinosaurs to see, but I love the frogs the best. The dig pit (which is 5 bucks) is also one of my sons fave things to do. Not bad when you only have a little bit of time and are looking for something to do with your kids.

On its own, it's great, but being so close to the main museum was a let-down by comparison. Membership can solve that, as you can go to both. The people here are friendlier than the downtown museum. The children were thrilled to talk to their frog expert. It's also a little more kid-friendly than downtown.

The museum was very neat, especially for small children. I visited here on a Groupon and enjoyed the visit. I was very impressed with the dinosaurs that we saw, but some of the exhibits were broke, one of the frogs was left dead in the tank, and it was very small. It is a great spot for a single day visit and with a couple improvements be very nice.
