Such a beautiful park. So peaceful you can watch the ducks, fish boats nice Scenery. Trash free nice bike and walk trails. They even have a place where you can sit down and play chess if not checkers Good to get a peaceful mind. Watch and listen to the Beautiful water...
What a beautiful little gem in the heart of Downtown Norwich! I really enjoyed taking pictures and walking around the park.
Maybe a good place for fishing but at this present time I would not say this is a family friendly Park... Although it could be. There are porta potties instead of a restroom and there were lighters on the bench and a few wasted people in the park. Garbage was clearly full, but there's no one maintaining this park for this type of situation when I went. Fueling your boat here anymore is not an option.
One of my favorite places to go in Norwich. I Have seen Bald Eagles, a seal and a Dolphin. A Train comes by a couple times a day. There is fishing and crabbing available. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. I would love to see the town maintain the historical beauty of this quaint little harbor.
Not a place to be after dusk. For the experienced small boater it's an ok boat launch but not for a novice. Fishing is usually ok but because of proximity to plant not a good idea to eat fish. No playground. Tiny picnic area.no grill. Dogs on leash but no fenced area.
Very nice spot! Love the information on the history of the waterfront! And those chess tables are super cool! Plenty of parking, and special parking stalls for trailers across from the boat launch. Tons of ducks and geese hanging out in the water where the ramp is. It was so cute to watch them swim around. There are tons of signs posted to not feed the birds. So I wouldn't risk bringing food for them and getting in trouble! Such a beautiful area, a must see if you're new to town!
This is a great little place on the water downtown norwich. They have a boat launch that is very accessible. It is a great place to fish! There are always ducks around so little kids will have a blast here. No playground or anything like that but it's a nice spot to bring kids or even just come fish off of the docks. Parking is free and I believe in the summer this is where they set up one of their festivals.
It's a nice place to sit and watch the ducks. There's benches to sit. Great place to see the fireworks in July.
It's a nice place to go and spend some time with your family, but the neighborhood is a little sketchy, or maybe it was just me. We went for fireworks night on July 8th but it was a little too crowded and the last fireworks we couldn't see it because of the smoke. But we had a fun Friday night
Lots of birds, not a lot of people. Nice place for a nature break!
