Very pretty place to walk & enjoy nature. $7 cash donation pay in the box & take parking pass for car. Pay box at start of trail. Right by the stream there's a picnic table shady at lunchtime and it's cool, quiet & serene. Nearby are historical buildings like a creamer with signs & window peeping. We walked a small 5-10 minute trail because I was in-pain that day. A perfect hike for moms with toddlers or little kids! Great place for family!
Neat to read up on the history of this place on the signs around the house and grounds. We were able to go during a weekday and had the whole place to ourselves which was nice. Neat little stream by the house, enhanced by the recent snow
What a neat little house. If you’re into history this is a must see. The architecture is awesome and an amazing piece of history to experience.
Beautiful grove with trails and bridges. Apple trees can be picked for free with a reservation. Cool old historical buildings.
Midway has always been my favorite place. Huber Grove is the perfect place to stop take in nature and learn of the history of the area and the challenges our Pioneer settlers had. Amazing what they grew and the trees they grafted ro have produce. Go and learn and listen to the area, get out of the city you won't be disappointed.
Cool historical buildings with quotes, stories and poems throughout the property. Fun place any time of year.
Great spot for a history lesson on the valley and homesteading in general. It's great that they have maintained the structures and many trees to this day. They had a couple people on site that were well versed in the history of the homestead and the valley in general. It was really interesting. It makes you appreciate modern amenities that much more when you see some of the things they had to work with, but at the same time it is sad to see how commercialized such beautiful land has become.
Took a 5 minute flat walk with my fat chihuahua. He's trying to get his bikini body back. Shhhh don't tell him lol Really easy walk for toddlers, Littles & babies in pouches. A stroller might be tough. Easy stroll & it ends by picnic tables & shade.
Such a great morning picking apples, you need a permit so don't forget to get a reservation.
