Was in Metropolis over the weekend and ate at Huddle House 2 days in a row for breakfast. Our experience was awesome both days. Food was amazing ! Been dreaming of the loaded hash browns ever since our visit. The employees are friendly and do a great job. Wish we had a Huddle House close to where we live. So much better than Waffle House!

It's a nice little place to grab a meal. The men had a little bit of everything. All day breakfast too. The staff are very nice and always checking to see if you need anything.

Good parking, Sizable booths, Clean atmosphere.... and that is the only positives I can come up with. I know that no one goes to the huddle house for healthy food but is it too much to ask for it to be edible? The Waffles were not good. The Western omelet came fried and swimming in a plate of oil as if there was not enough oil in the omelet itself. They ran out of sausage gravy offering toast as an alternative. When they brought out the dry toast and waffles, they informed us they had run out of butter also. (But not oil! That is unless they used the last cup as decoration on the omelet plate) We had to ask for jelly. Once we were done we sat for a bit waiting on our check. As our waitress was no where to be seen and we had yet to get a bill we finally got up and went to the register to play for our $54.00 meal. Save your time, money, and palate and try somewhere else.

As you can see I am very sick still from brain surgery but I wanted to go eat at the best restaurant in my town. The waitresses are always so nice and helpful. The food is wonderful and I couldn't ask for a better meal. Thank You

Had the garden omelette worth hasbrowns. Food was surprisingly good. Not too greasy. Hard to find a table to sit that was wiped down. Would come back!
