The library is a Beaux_Arts Classical modified style designed by architect Claire Allen of Jackson, MI. The library is constructed of local fieldstone by Koch Brothers of Ann Arbor. The library is finished throughout with golden oak columns, woodwork, and windows.

Mission

The mission of the Hudson Public Library is to provide residents of the Hudson Area with library services of the highest quality t meet the ever-changing needs for educational, cultural, and recreational information, to promote literacy, and to foster a love of reading.
