Don't get me wrong, I like hudson. I like the set up of the schedule and the wide variety of extra-curriculars, courses and athletics they offer. However, I feel like this school is a tad selfish. They value the education of the students very much, but only so that they can stay one of the best schools. Why should a standardized test, be required to graduate? Standardized testing is a measure of how well the district is doing, so they take measures for the State. Not to mention, the 3-5 hrs. of homework everyday and that's only in regular classes. Like c'mon. How am I supposed to be a kid, when I have all this homework to do. I get it homework in some subject is needed and yes studying is very important, but too much has been proven to cause more stress on teens, and we get less sleep because we're up all might trying to get it done, then how do you expect us to function in school the next day? Nearly, impossible. I would love to give it a five star, but the alot of the staff should change the workload. It's resulting in loss of sleep, more stress and most importantly, more children going into terrible drugs, as this school has a huge problem with that as well. This doesn't include the consistant bullying problem here, you would think after one lawsuit, they would get it together.

As a past graduate of HHS, I can attest to the fact that it is an excellent High School. More importantly, it's apparently a great place to fly kites!
