I have a 2009 cobalt that needed a new transmission.. The dealer wanted 3000 plus to fix it and these guys fixed it for 1300 and that was a huge blessing for me.. They are honest and do great work!!!!

Honest people that stick to there word. Hard to find these days. We will never go any other place. Seems like a family owned business that have good principles.

These guys really care about doing a great job and taking care of the customer! I run a food truck so down time costs me money. They took care of my truck as quick as possible for a great price. Nick and his staff could not be nicer! Thanks!

So I found that I had a trand fluid leak from the drive shaft on my suv. I did research and found it to be common with my vehicle. I was goinging to fix myself but special tools were needed. I called around and port sheldon was the cheapest at $150 for the repair. They did disagree with what I said needed repaired but in the end I was right. I got my suv in and after they looked at it they confirmed I was right. But said its to much for them to do and said they work with Bob's transmission. They said Bob's said its a real hard repair. They said there is a kit and they would have to replace the barrings and now quoted $550. Mean while I had youtubed the fix, found the kit needed($60) and the repair only take 1.5 hours tops. Also I had already got a quote from Bob's before and they told me $400 so what changed? So I again called around found Hudsonville trans who quoted $350. Went to get my suv and port sheldon mad a big deal about driving my car to the next place. I even had to sign a paper. But their employee drove the suv from the back to the front? Next I go to top off the trans fluid before leaving and the trans dip stick is missing. I go inside and the owner said it did not have one when it was delivered..... um sorry but just checked it yesterday how do you think I knew it was low??? I will give them some credit though they said "if you say I lost your dip stick then i guess I will have to replace it." So ultimately Hudsonville trans repaired it (exactly what I told people it was) cheaper and quicker and did not dick me around on the price to fix it. They even found the dip stick under my hood that port sheldon said was not there. So would never go back to port sheldon and wont even call Bob's again. (I did return the dip stick)
