We’ve been residents of Hueytown for the past 9 years. I’ve never encountered a bad experience with our officers. In fact, I’m proud to be as supportive as possible because I’ve witnessed caring, extra effort put forth for Community events and support for Hueytown schools. God Blessour officials.

If there is no revenue to be generated for the city or if it's a familiar person to anyone that frequents this ridiculous, embarrassment of a tax write-off called the Hueytown Police Dept. you can save your time, energy and breath by not calling them for any assistance, from my perfectly operable 80 model Dodge Ram Charger in my driveway that I  got a letter in the mail from the city stating that it is a nuisance, that it must be made operable and moved to the driveway or it will be towed to a Domestic call years ago on May drive where my Father lived (whom owned a Auto Parts Store in this great city many years ago and had their account for a period of time which contributed to the businesses demise) about a incident with a truck that I had on me proof of ownership and someone was wanting to use it against my will so I call for my local tax write off to assist me in preventing this from happening yet as they arrive one after another and see my girlfriend ( exotic dancer dressed for work demanding to use my truck to get there) the first officer reveals that he just graduated a forensic handwriting course and that her name on the title is genuine (I must have overlooked I signed it over to her a few minutes after they arrived) and here we are again I call them and want to file a report about pictures being taken of a adolescent boy from a male in a car in front of my house which I chase down the road and confront and with no explanation as to why he is there taking pics he tells me he is going to shoot me if I attempt to enter his car, I was angry and shouting in my attempt to find answers but never attempted to enter his vehicle or approach it in a aggressive manner, I tell him the cops will finish this and they did, the "civil servant" that gets dispatched to my house upon asking me why I called them out with every detail I explained he defended this person from the beginning and by the end of his visit which he wrote down no tag #, no description of the photographer nor his vehicle he told me I was at fault that the man was just defending himself, he also during our  short time together volunteered detailed information that I did not give such as the man treated me with respect by not getting out of his car and trespassing on my property as he snapped his photos so he couldn't understand why I was angry! Again the old saying you can't fight city hall proves that this democracy we emply is not flawed, it is manipulated, twisted and used for personal gain to the point it's a joke but as they tell me when I try to get something done about these and other problems from the past "it's a flawed system but it's the only one we got) so residents of this great city please put privacy fences up (but not in the front yard that's also breaking the law here) so potential sex offenders can't take pics of your children, service your vehicles and keep them operable and parked in the driveway (if they already are in the driveway and operable it's ok, it's the only system we have but we towed your automobile and the wrecker bill and impound fees cost more than your wages for a month so call work and tell them you have no transportation and won't be there) and DONT LET YOUR STRIPPER GIRLFRIEND BE OUTSIDE when they arrive to assist you in preventing your truck being taken against your will from said stripper and you'll be alright! I'm so sorry to everyone that has called on these people to help in time of need and was let down! Let's see if they allow this to be posted, but then again what's Freedom of Speech? Why should it be different than any one of the many things our civil servants are supposed to enforce and FAIL miserably. Good nite

They harrass and try to imcriminate you for minute reasons like a tag light out. They are all mostly on a power trip and are not willing to extend a help in someones time of need.

Officers were at my house and one was ready to leave before he even talked to me to find out why I called. Then this fat sarcastic officer laughed at me when I tried to tell him I was not going to allow a woman living with me to take what she wanted because she wanted to move. He said for me to get a safety deposit box so I guess if I'm a genie I'll just snap my fingers on a a Sunday night and do that. He said all this as he threw up his hands and walked his overweight ass back to his unearned SUV, pathetic.
