Go around 5:00 because it got packed at 6:00. Interesting concept of selecting your noodles or rice, along with raw meat and vegetable choices followed by 4-5 ladles of mix/match sauces. Then you bring to the hibachi grill and they cook it on the spot! Staff was very friendly. Recommend either the yakisoba or Chinese noodles, much better than the rice. Didn’t realize we went on a Monday and it was a 2 for $22 deal! Comes with a complimentary soup/salad. Soft drinks and pot stickers, crab rangoons, etc are extra. Only downside is the wait when it’s crowded. Good sign for good food!

I gave this place a second chance after a less than stellar first try many months ago.  I recommend to not go within 1 hour of them opening.  The chef doesn't have the grill turned up high enough my opinion. I chose all vegetable ingredients and it came out like a barely warm salad.  When I told  my server he gave a discount but did not remove it completely from the bill.  Considering I only ate 3 bites of vegetables inexpensive items I feel it was in poor taste to charge me at all. On another note the building is also freezing.  My husband and I had to sit there with our coats on.  I've learned my lesson and will not be returning for a 3 try

We got here about 2pm and there was a good size crowd.  Food was super good and tasty.  It's buffet style so you load up your bowl with food and then give it to the cooks to cook it on the grill.  Super good and tasty and everything is fresh.   The first time we tried HuHot was in Kalispell MT and we loved the concept.  We found out there was one an hour away from where we live.  We will definitely be back.

My first time eating here was this weekend.  It was a great experience.  I will be back when I can as I can't always afford to eat out as often.  This was my first experience with this type of dining.  I read some of the low reviews of this place being a little dirty but It looks like they made improvements because it was pretty clean.

Good food, good ambience, good concept. One of the better restaurants around west Lafayette

Have had Mongolian style before and sadly this was not the experience I was use to and expected. The fun aspect was not there and the meat selection and quality greatly lacked. The wait staff was great. But the overall experience was sub-par.

FOOD POISONING!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE. Food was not fresh, over cooked and not worth the price. For just 2 people it was $40 for the limited options.  AND I SPENT THE NEXT THREE DAYS THROWING UP WITH DEBILITATING ABDOMINAL PAINS. WORST FOOD POISONING I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. I will not be going back here E V E R. Not the mention the service was bad. And the line to get more food was so long, we walked out only having the first small portion. And 40 less dollars. Its most definitely a restaurant to remember

7/23 Update: They will now take orders for you and make the plates and bring them to your table. There is no self-service for now. Still very good value for the money. Highly recommended. The only one in Indiana! Very worth it. Staff here are really attentive and accommodating. Food is always cooked to order and fresh.

Nice place Great and friendly staff  Tricky to get right selection of Sauces but otherwise very tasty dishes can be made.  If you are heavy eater all you can eat buffet is amazing.  Very limited vegetarian choices and veg & meat are very close by so 4 star.  Our waiter was amazing.

I was in charge of having top-of-the-line food for our community volunteers lounge for an event we hosted. I called Hu-Hot and was super excited when Ryan, the owner, took time to talk with me and offered crab rangoons for our lounge!!  They were delicious, Hu-Hot provided a generous amount and there was sauce with them. They were one of the food items in our lounge that I could see and hear people excited eat.
