Funny to find the restaurants are upstairs and food is delivered with robots, and human places the to go bag in cabinets that you unlock with your phone - very fun and delicious; attendant had excellent customer service.Food: 4/5
I stumbled on this spot while working in the Venice Beach area. I love burgers and and could not resist a Japanese burger joint. As I entered the space I was immediately greeted by and enthusiastic and welcoming bartender named Lucas. Lucas is the kind if bartender and server that you immediately feel like you want to be friends with. After bellying up to the bar I noticed the ambiance of the clean and well designed restaurant. Ample bar seating as well as tables to accommodate the lonely traveler as well as families. The beer offerings are quaint but well chosen with support of local and regional craft beer as well as some of the best asian imports. Lucas suggested that I try the local amber ale from pizza port and it paired up well with my food. I had the Spam Musabi burger and it was arranged perfectly with fried egg, avocado, grilled Spam, Smokey bacon, crisp hash-browns American cheese, and medium burger with sauce all on a perfectly toasted bun. I got the garlic parmesan french fries that were cooked with some crisp and seasoned well. The burger was hard to set down it was so well balanced with all the flavors melding into something that you savored but craved more of with each bite. Alternating bites of burger french fries and sips of the Pizza Port Amber is a best practice. Im already planning my next visit so I can try all of these burgers. Go to Humble Potato when you are in the Venice beach area it will not disappoint.
I was visiting LA for a convention and wanted a burger for dinner. Saw In-N-Out Burger, but why go to a chain when I could try something new! It was 100% worth it! Sure it was a little expensive normal LA pricing, but the flavor combinations of Japanese and American fusion is UNMATCHED! 10/10, would recommend! Parking: Side parking lot, not specific to this restaurant.
Definitely one of the best burgers I've ever had. Small burger place with friendly staff. Pictured below was the Karē Fries and the Battle Royale Burger. I stepped out of my comfort zone with the Karē Fries and the Japanese curry sauce ended up tasting really good. The Battle Royale tasted so fresh and the staff allowed me to sub the bacon with even more avocado. This burger was HUGE! The runny egg on top made it all worth it. Worth the trip if you're looking for a bite that's unique and tasty.
We were served quickly and were given a swift run down of the menu. Place is clean and tidy. Staff were courteous and great. Seating is for less than 20 people for sure. Parking is available on the street or a small lot nearby about 30 feet away. No restroom from the what I recall.
Food was pretty good but pretty pricey for what we got. 60 dollars for 3 adults and a child. That’s 15 dollars each. Was ready to pay that much for a quick bite. My food was really good. When have been a 4 star but had to drop a star since my wife didn’t like her food at all.
Ordered fried chicken hamburger, got regular hamburger, and too salty. Yakiniku Sandwich is also very salty and the bread is cold. Can’t believe it costs 40$.Food: 1/5
Good place clean with inovative menu. Prices can be high . Draws crows of people . ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ It is a nice asian fusion Serves good ice/cold tea. Staff is really cool . ‍‍ It is decorated very cutie . Good vibe here Good for groups. Younger hang out ‍‍ Food was good. Portion sizes are fair Had a good time Street parking only. Super tender pork belly. I got the shichimi parmesan nori fries and poku baga pork burger. The pork belly was super delicious. The fries were meh. I'd say for a $12 burger, I'm quite disappointed they didn't use fresh ingredients in the slaw. It looks like it came straight out of a pre cut bag. And to make things worst. There was no AC. it was so hot inside. I would also like to suggest they provide an option for a smaller portion fries. I paid more than $20 for burger and fries. This is a restaurant sit down pricing. At least let me pay $3 for a smaller fries. I would give this place 4 stars if the price and experience match up better. Such as $12-15 for a complete meal.
This place is amazing! I'm not a local and needed something good by the airport. We had the Jack'd, The B.A.T. Bird, Battle Royal, and fries. Everything was devoured and delicious! Highly highly recommend!!!
