We have been eating at Hunan Pearl for several years and have NEVER had a bad experience! The food has always been amazing and the staff is wonderful! We always get greeted like long lost friends and are treated with such kindness. We have taken several of our friends over the years and they are die-hard fans as well! Don't waste anymore time and GO! So so delicious! And don't forget to try the kiwi scallops...too good to be true!

Party of 6 with 3 children at 6:30PM on a weeknight. We had to wait for a table for 15 minutes which isn't too bad for a good restaurant and a large party. We were hopeful that we had found a good place to eat since they were full and the aroma was so good! When I was searching for places, I looked for family style chinese restaurant for families. Walking into this place, I could tell I would have to make my children behave even more than our typical restaurant (spaghetti factory or red robin). Thankfully they did great, but it was a source of anxiety through the whole dinner. The food was delicious compared to our normal Chinese fare (Happy's in Gladstone which is no longer in business after many years). We ordered the barbecue pork and sampler for the appetizer - it was good, but the barbecue pork was a little bland to me - I guess that's what the sauce is for. We also had the house soup which was not my favorite - I love a basic egg drop soup, but it was good and between the 6 of us we finished a serving bowl meant for 2. We ordered a lot for our main course because we wanted to try several things - the house fried rice was delicious and moist, the sweet and sour pork and chicken were moist and not too sweet. Our family favorite was the Happy Family Reunion - it was so tasty of a dish that we could order it all on it's own. I gave it 4 stars only because this is a place I couldn't see taking my kids to on a regular basis ... or maybe ever again. Maybe next time I'll see if I can pick up a to go order, because they were good enough to make the trip from Canby.

This is my favorite lunch spot. The staff is amazing and they are always extremely fast and efficient when they have a full restaurant. They remember you and even your order sometimes if you come there often enough. I even get them to go on the weekend sometimes because I crave hunan!

More of the main ingredients and less filler ingredients. Great variety and service too. Oh, and everything we tried tasted frickin' awesome!

Love this place. Hot and sour soup was tasty. Twice cooked pork and orange beef are both top notch
