This is a friendly, helpful old time hardware store. They have everything plumbing, electrical, tools, garden, housewares, wood stoves, guns...you get the idea. The place is huge. The people are very helpful and friendly. A great find for us since we are new to the area.

Store has a little of everything but every time I have called to ask a question I get the impression that it's a bother, very short, and no additional information is given. Answers like "yeah I think so" and "some". Answers should have been, I can check for you and let me tell you what we have. For a small town hardware store I'd think they'd be more friendly but I guess if you're the only game in town, it might not matter. The OTHER hardware store in town doesn't seem to have as much but boy are the friendly and helpful.

Very unfriendly folks. They could be giving stuff away and I would not be interested. I'd rather drive to Martinsburg.

If you're not shopping here for your hardware needs, it's your loss. Shop local ~ especially if you live in town.
