Attending here is more about the "CL. Simmons Show" than it is about worshipping God. I call this man out as a false prophet. His church service revolves around HIS singing and his silly dancing around the church DURING a sermon (very disrespectful), and his "dream" to build a new sanctuary, even though the congregation numbers only about 40 on a good Sunday. Why doesn't he concentrate more on bringing in unsaved souls and building a CONGREGATION, not an expensive new sanctuary... And he's asking this of people who are doing good to show up at church with nice clothes on to respect the house of God. I've learned he was asked to leave Longview Church of God. Perhaps it had something to do with new Harley Davidson motorcycles, BMW convertibles, or the expensive gold jewelry he chose to wear. Most importantly, I fully believe that C.L wanted to make it big in the Christian music industry. He received some recognition, but never as far as the famous ones do. With that in mind, it would seem that those big offering plates at Longview led him to see the tempting color of gold, cars, motorcycles, and other wordly, material things. ...while preaching about tithing to his congregation. Now he's back at his old tricks at a different church. I will warn ANYONE about this man. The Holy Spirit calls out to me and speak to me about discernment of the Spirit. I sense false teachings and ESP I sense a man in the pulpit for the wrong reasons. I warn ANYONE attending to beware. I feel that the Holy Trinity would be more easily worshipped somewhere else...at least with a minister who cares more about his CONGREGATION than he does himself. Please, brothers and sisters, I ask you to proceed with great caution here...
