Now I know inner city parks usually get a bad rep. But, I must say that my last 2 visits here were quite nice. The park was pretty clean! I took my kids to the basketball court...clean. Went to the playground...clean. Got to see a girls soccer game...field looked very nice and had a track around it. I'd go back without hesitation. I did go on a weekday on both occasions so I can't really say how the atmosphere is on the weekend. Oh, they also have tennis courts, baseball and football fields, a pool and a pavilion (the pavilion is the downfall. It needs work). I think they have a farmers market occasionally.

Decent city park. I eat lunch here sometimes and nice to walk the park. There is a smaller section that is cutoff from Roosevelt Blvd that is not as nice. I’d stay by the fields and playground.

Just a great park. As someone growing up in the 90s this park has done a complete 360. It didn't used to be like this

I love this place, a place that you can do; have fun, kids can play safe, you can bring your dogs, do kids party, grilling and other things. Short words is a great place.
