Story

Hutchinson's Flowers Inc. was established on April 25, 1980 by John and Linda Hutchinson and is now operated by John and Linda's daughters and son-in-law, Suzette Arrington and Anne and Tom Howes.

We are a full service florist that offers a wide range of fresh and artificial flowers, plants, balloons, stuffed animals, small novelty items and fruit, gourmet and candy baskets. Specializing in weddings, corporate and private parties, funeral flowers and your everyday arrangements.

Hutchinson's Flowers is part of the FTD, Teleflora and 800 Flowers wire service and this allows us to send flowers world wide as well as local delivery service.

Excellent service. My beautiful wife was having a bad day and needed to smile. I called Hutchinson's at 330 in the afternoon and they were able to deliver flowers to my wife that same day. I was on the phone with her when she received them and she was so happy. The arrangement was beautiful and i was 0 help telling them what i wanted. Thank you so much for helping it really means a lot!!!!

I live in Florida and needed to send flowers to family in Sykesville but did not want the cheap 1-800 flowers arrangements. I was very impressed with the level of service and the quality of the flowers I received. Thank you delivering positive customer service.

Going by these reviews, I just caught them on a bad day. I ordered an arrangement from their website, to be sent to a funeral. I ordered a lovely arrangement in a dressy pink vase, with all kinds of pink and white flowers. What they sent was an ugly, rectangular vase with a piece of ribbon strewn across it. The flowers were huge, gaudy and did not match, plus they were not even arranged nicely. I could have accepted some substitution, but this was a completely different arrangement. When I called to complain, they suggested I wasn't looking at their website, but yes indeed I was. They don't even know what is on their own website, apparently. I suggest they contact customers when what they want is not available, I suggest they don't offer what they won't deliver, and I suggest their designer take classes to improve their craft. Going by my order and another arrangement at this funeral from their shop, their designer needs more training.

The staff is friendly and helpful. Prices seemed a little high, but I don't often shop for flowers so maybe they are normal.

Highly recommend Hutchinson's Flowers. We were planning our wedding and a little over a month beforehand, the original florist became non-responsive to emails and had not finalized the flower choices or centerpieces, nor given us a complete estimate. I walked into Hutchinson's late in the afternoon, and they took the time to sit down with me and review what I wanted. Within an hour, we had everything picked out -- bouquets, boutonnieres, and centerpieces -- and I had a quote for the cost. Done! The bouquets were gorgeous, and the centerpieces were much more substantial that I had imagined. I can't thank them enough for their customer service and great work.
