Did the lunch menu with the starter, entree and side. Service was great but it was a bit slow for lunch. They have a full bar and various cocktails on their menu worth trying. Lunch combo varies in price depending on 2,3,4 plate combo. And gives you options to pick in each category. For the starters tried the dim sum platter of the mushroom and spinach and prawn dim sum. The spinach one wasn’t too great the prawn was ok but a little bland. The entree was the chicken in scallion and sprouts and side was the vegetarian noodles. But could do with a bit more spice. The noodles lacked more flavor than the chicken but once added in with the chilli oil and mixed both together it was a good combo. The drink was the non alcoholic one with the cherry and it really tasted like a cream soda so quite refreshing.
Hutong was amazing and we have a great time. The ambience is a captivating blend of modern sophistication and traditional charm, providing a perfect backdrop for the culinary journey that awaits. Each dish is a masterpiece, a harmonious dance of flavors and textures. The impeccable service adds an extra layer of refinement to the overall dining experience. Hutong is not just a restaurant; it's a culinary adventure that elevates Chinese fusion cuisine to new heights.
All foods that I tasted were so delicious. Service was very fast. I like the ambiance; especially the high ceiling, wall decorations and light show on the wall. Bar menu would be contain more choise of alcohol. Music would be asian style. 20% service tip is included in the check. I highly recommend this restaurant.Food: 4/5
If you love northern Chinese food, this place is a must. In addition to their regular menu, they have a tasting menu I highly recommend. The portions are good, but allow easily for appetizer and main. You have to try the duck, it is the super star here. The drinks are OK, so I recommend their sake or old fashioned instead, but this really just very personal. The service was excellent, thank you guys for being so attentive. The ambiance also amazing. I loved the decor and the music. It was upbeat, but not loud, just perfect.
Stopped in with friends for lunch after hearing very positive reviews and wasn't disappointed. All the food was good. The crab and lobster broth was amazing. The Red Latern was very tasty as well. We all loved the crispy pork dumplings too. The rice vermicelli was pretty basic. Chinese broccoli is perfectly cooked. They should tell you that the Peking duck white meat comes sliced and the dark meat is served after in a lettuce wrap style mix. I prefer my meat on the bone; the duck leg is my favorite so I feel like I missed out unfortunately. It was tasty in all but a little extra detail would go a long way.
We dined here this past Saturday 12/2 to celebrate a birthday. The food was unique and delicious, flavors that you definitely don’t taste everyday. I recommend 100% to order the pecking duck and dim sum platter and don’t pass on the table side tiramisu!! The service was also phenomenal, our server was so sweet and knowledgeable. He made great recommendations based on our taste. The music was also amazing! we couldn’t stop bopping our heads as we were eating lol. We became friendly with the DJ, his name was Ziv and he created the perfect atmosphere with the music which tied our evening together. Service, Food, and Music were all hits. We agreed to come back soon.
Came here for my sister's birthday dinner. We brought our own cake and they were able to accommodate us but they did charge us a cake cutting fee. On the upside, the food was delicious but they had small portions so we had to order 2 of each dish for a party of 6. One of my favorite dishes was the dim sum dumpling platter. Of course we had to get the flaming duck experience. The chef was so skillful and there was more than enough duck to go around the table.
I celebrated my birthday dinner here and I count have chosen a better place. The reverse brunch they do is amazing and the dim sum is to die for. Wendy was our server she knew everything and had the best recommendations. We will definitely be back. GET THE DUCK!Food: 5/5
The restaurant is beautiful. The service is excellent. I had the Miami Spice menu... First two and the last courses are fixed. You choose the entree. It's a decent deal at $60. I had way too much food. Some courses were better than others. The first course was Dim Sum, three different items, all good. Second course was Peking Duck. I'm not a huge duck fan and I found the food both tasty and attractive. I selected the Pawns with Fried Rice for the main course. The pawns seemed a bit dry. Between the pawns and the fried rice, something made my lips and tongue numb. I think it was the fried rice. It was a most interesting spice. I liked it a lot and i also didn't like it. I was a bit disappointed in the main course and would select something different next time. Now prawns are usually my first choice of protein when eating out. Dessert was a White Sesame Salted Caramel Bao with Soy Ice Cream. I'm really glad i tried Hutong. None of the food i had was compelling enough to make me want to return though.
Oliver was absolutely incredible! We had the duck, steak & noodles! We hit up Hutong in Miami, and let me tell you, their creative dishes are mind-blowing! Every plate is like a culinary work of art – so unique and packed with flavors. If you're all about trying something new and exciting, this is your spot. It's not just food; it's an adventure. #HutongInnovation #MiamiFoodArt
