This is our second time staying at Huttopia, first time in the White Mountains and we are already planning our next trip back. The location is amazing for families to allow for fun half day trips, hiking or enjoying any of North Conway's amusements, and then enjoy all the amenities of the campsite upon return. Even on one of the busiest holiday weekends, the staff were so calm and helpful, the lake never felt overcrowded, and we easily rented paddle boards and managed to snag Adirondack chairs on the beach. The pizza onsite was delicious and the beds so incredibly comfortable! My kids have never slept better and are used to staying more often in hotels. Can't wait to come back!
Moms - this is the place you’ve been looking for! Facilities are clean and BEAUTIFUL. There is a shop with everything you need. There is breakfast, lunch and dinner served and the options are delicious. I’m shocked, I didn’t expect THIS. I personally am getting too old to “camp” but these tents have running water and hot showers and TOILETS! Don’t hesitate, you’ll love it, your children will love it! Consider me Huttopias biggest fan. In the words of my children “ I wish we could stay here forever”.
Overall we had a nice time, a family with 2 children. Pros: * The rooms provide all the comfort you would need - grill with stove to cook, fridge, small bathroom, and comfortable beds. It's like a bit more like a small hotel room than tent, which definitely adds comfort when compared to tent camping. * The heated pool and adjacent playground were perfect for our 2 and 5 year old, and is where we spent most of our time. * The location has many of fun stuff around such as story land, beautiful nature hikes and waterfalls Cons: * Our main disappointment was that we felt the reservation back office was too rigid - We ordered 6 nights but couldn't arrive on the dates for the first 3, and while we we called during timeframe of 2 weeks before the reservation where you can officially modify the reservation, we weren't allowed to split the reservation in two or alternatively get credit for the next year for some of the nights. While we are sure the fine print supported this, it would have been nice for a more personal approach that aims to help given the premium glamping venue - it felt like talking to an airline carrier which is just looking to maximize profits the staff on site was super nice for comparison. * The rooms were quite close to each other, in most state parks tent camping would allow a bit more seclusion. The tents are set up in a private way which is nice, but you should be aware of this especially if you are coming without kids.
Wow! This is our second year at White Mountains Huttopia and it didn’t disappoint. The grounds are well kept. Our Trappeur was clean and stocked. We rented a SUP each day. The kids activities kept them busy but we also went tubing and hiking. We loved getting a croissant each morning. Everything is so easy, well kept and fun. The staff helped us each day to make our stay this way as well. They offered us a smile each time we asked questions. All in all, we highly recommend this campsite and we will go back! Nearby activities: White Mountains offer a lot of hiking and swimming. We loved tubing on the Saco river as well.
Our first experience with Glamping and glad we went with Huttopia! Excellent tents, location, and amenities. Only minor recommendation is that they can have some more activities planned for the kids, and have more items added to the food options in their cafe. Although, I have to say that their crepes are awesome and so is their pizza from their nice food truck!! Friendly staff and very welcoming. Swimming pool area was nice and clean and the pool was heated at just the right temp! We will surely recommend Huttopia glamping to anyone, and will be back for sure. Thank you, Huttopia!
We really enjoyed our stay at Huttopia. This is our second time staying here, and we will be coming back again. The location is perfect for being in the forest, but only about 15 minutes away from North Conway. The staff is friendly, and super helpful too. Can't wait to go back!Rooms: 5/5
Our family has been coming here for four years now and we visit along with five other families. We love how well-equipped the tents are, and how many activities there are. The big drawback is that there is no lifeguard. Otherwise, it’s lovely and a nice camping experience with some glamping perks!Rooms: 5/5
We have spent 4th of July at Huttopia White Mountains. I wanted to find a place that would have some "luxuries of sleeping inside" and be in nature and great for whole family. I found Huttopia and I will never look back. I did read some reviews prior to going with family of 4. We loved our stay. Yes, there was a mishap with pool during our 4 day stay we ended up getting refund for 2 days/credit toward a future day as pool was out of service and it was so hot and kids were cranky about it. I hugely appreciated that manager took care of this for us after leaving the Huttopia. This is a huge deal for family of 4. WE will be coming back!!! We stayed in Canadienne. Everything was amazing aside from pool mess up - beds are SUPER COMFY! hotel quality sleep with "gel blankets" that feel so good. -campites are not crowded up on top of each other at all as some people write in their reviews/ - there is plenty of trees between each site - they give you everything you see listed online! everything for camping, cooking. each site has gas grill with propane tank. - bathouses are very close to many campsites... you are never too far from them. Showers ARE not small! We actually took a shower 2 at the time. our son and myself together someone wrote showers are small. No way!!! they were clean and nice. - the little wagons you can borrow are great for moving around or even for taking supplies to the lake. - I felt very relaxed and like in heaven staying there! - pizza was tasty and yes, they didn't have coffee in food truck, but that was ok! - front office desk staff was very nice and polite and friendly! WE WILL be back either here or trying the one in Southern Maine. Thank you again! Rooms: super comfy and great and spacious. has everything you need. for cooking and cleaning and all! Food & drinks: Pizza was great and also crepes. Noteworthy details: Pet friendly place. Their menu needs updating. It says they have coffee they didn't
This is truly a great glamping experience. We go every year and always have a great time. The staff is fantastic, the lake is beautiful and the trapper tents are amazing. Enjoy a hot water shower, toilet and sink, kitchen, and comfy beds, all in the middle of a forest. Grill your food on a grate above your camp fire or bbq it up. Take a dip in the beautiful pool if open - wasn't for us, grab a crepe or pizza, and a beer very reasonably priced at the clubhouse. Take a dip in the lake or kayak. So much convenient camping fun. Highly recommend! 5*
This trip was excellent with my fiancé. We both loved the accommodations, and the facilities were very nice and clean. We didn’t use too many guest services, though they offered many that seemed very helpful for any guest Rooms: Absolutely loved the yurt style of rooms. Made for a very unique sleeping area Safety: Security was well established, never did we feel unsafe during our stay. Walkability: All facilities were within reasonable walking distance
