The man with dark brown hair working at the hot food bar Italian & asian had an attitude for no reason at all. My visit was 1/03/2023 at around 6:20 p.m. I didn't even say thank you when he handed me my food because he acted like such a jerk.

Seems like I can find something disappointing every time I shop at Hy-Vee East. Being out of 48¢ candy bars, out if Fuel Saver Lorraine Swiss, and getting no help from Meat department stocker is not uncommon. But, having a new checkout system without training the cashiers is a big headache. This is the last place I want to stand and wait. I also have to hope that I won't get charged too much or that my coupons will work. The poor kid, Fabian, at the register Sunday morning was doing his best to help me. Unfortunately, he was only able to give me $4.50 off of a $5.00 off coupon. He was trying all sorts of stuff to get me my discount, but he was not trained to do it properly or quickly. Please hire someone to train your employees.

My husband and I had our wedding anniversary yesterday.  We stopped here to pick up a whipped topping cake to share. I love the chocolate cake and he likes the vanilla. I picked out a marble cake.  We got home and cut into it and it's a plain white cake.  Pretty disappointed. For the price we paid, I had hoped we got the cake we chose, has the marble sticker on top and on the barcode sticker.  I was looking forward to the chocolate in the cake and was let down.  Including pics.

Truck Drivers: Easiest way to get to the docks is turn left at Godfathers Pizza, then the next left im between the Hyvee and the pizza joint. Docks are facing North on the East side of the building.

I just have to state facts here. It’s sad and kind of upsetting how much better the food and catering service is at the other location compared to yours.

Hy-Vee inside is seen with the lighting inside. This store looks perfect inside. I like the inside.

Saturday the 13 the around 12:45 Had 2 meal Chinese Entei to go. Quality and selection very poor. I used to really it but that day was disappointing.

Pricey compared to other stores, but looking for a good price on gas after shopping, this is the place to go!

Despite some short supply issues everywhere during the pandemic still, Hy-Vee has had what I needed. Their deli counter is great, and their sushi is good too!  Our cashier, Devon, was amazing and very helpful. She was extremely kind for how busy it was and stressed she probably was. She was especially friendly and kind.  More self checkouts have been added, and I usually checkout without an issue now!

What happened to your deli? I came there to get two meals at 6:00pm and it's closed. The guy told me the deli is no longer serving in the evenings. The Asian deli had six empty trays and two half full. No wonder Hy-Vee is getting ready to go under, that and the ludicrous price gouging.
