Super friendly staff. Helpful smile in nearly every aisle (aisle six had more of a smirk than a smile). If you aren't from Iowa you might be shocked at how much the employees talk to you about anything. Weird if you're from other parts of the country...it's 'Iowa Nice'

Hy-Vee on the avenue of the cities is a great place to shop. It's clean, it's organized very well and all the employees are so nice. They go out if their way to help the customers. Not just me, I've seen several times where different employees have made sure a customer found what they came after. That was impressive to witness to see

The most pleasant place to dine-in that I and my grandchildren love to visit. They are very service oriented and have given my grandchildren and their friends a free item to snack on from time to time while they wait for parents or grandparents to shop and tell jokes to the children to help entertain them which keeps the children wanting to visit often. The staff and even given a free desert to the kids when they buy lunch on the weekends or during their afternoon visits after school for the group get togethers.

The Hy-Vee on the Avenue is awesome. Their customer service is top shelf. The last time I was in the manager was in front of me buying his lunch and going on break. He stopped unloaded my cart, waited till I was rung up and reloaded my cart even though I told him to go on to his lunch. He was courteous and professional in his manner smiling and joking with me the whole time. This is only one of the great experiences   from this store.

HyVee is an extraordinary grocery store. They can be pricey; however, they carry EVERYTHING & have an awesome fuel saver card that you can link to your Shell FR app...& save a ton of $$ on gas. Plus, they sell REAL STARBUCKS coffee, unlike Walmart. They are truly customer service oriented. It's so awesome to know that if I have a question about product that my questions will be met w/ a super positive & genuinely helpful person that will help solve or resolve whatever it is I'm unsure of, etc. Their inventory is extensive & the options of so much fresh food from fruit to the bakery & meat are 2nd to none. Love em!!!!!
