We love coming here. The have the beat cake here the best produce, a dine in option. Chinese food here. We love to shop here when they jave sales going on which it seems like every week they have good sales. Its always clean here.

2 weeks ago I went to this location and had poor service by a young girl working in the Chinese food area. She was whispering to her co worker about me wanting the Chinese food in different containers and not having them put in the same container. She was rolling her eyes and complaining. I automatically asked if there was an issue ? By that point I was so annoyed by her immaturity, I walked out of the store.
Tonight I go back after work and was going to get Chinese again and bought the mixed vegetables, no where on the container did it say that it was extremely hot! And would put my mouth on fire. At this point, I'm not going back to this location.

Good selection, well kept with good location and parking. Friendly staff and they rarely sell out of anything. Store has a good layout and is attached / contains USPS, a restaurant and a coffee shop, a Hy-Vee Liquor store, and many other shops attached in a strip mall. Only complaint: no self checkout and not always enough people checking customers out.

Groceries tend to be on the pricey side with very few savings offered here. Points program has been worthless for me. I have what like "2 points" for gas, which amounts to nothing after shopping here for a year? Slow moving lines and not just because people buy a lot but sometimes the cashiers are just plain slow. Sadly, no self-checkout available. At least the workers are nice and say hello and always go out of their way to help you find stuff if you ask where something is (which I actually don't like...just give me the aisle number). Produce seems to be okay here. Half the time the large spinach clamshells are out when I shop here at night. Roma tomatoes are not as good as Costco's in my experience.

Excellent grocery store with a great location allowing people in the people in the city get to a full grocery store without needing to drive to the edge of town.  Hy-Vee stocks full range of products including excellent produce, bakery, frozen, pet food, toiletries, pharmacy, a post office, and a full restaurant plus carry out.  The store is well staffed and the management provides great customer service and is very responsive to requests.

There is no general grocery store in Rochester better than this Hy-Vee location.
