In town for a wedding. Tried having a simple breakfast at Market Grille this morning. After waiting 45 minutes for our order and watching others around us get food who ordered after us we asked someone to check on it only to learn “something happened “ and were asked to reorder. We left. Very poor service. Not once did our waitress come back to our table. Another waiter noticed we didn’t have water about half way through our wait and got that for us. We will not be back.

The store was busy it's coming on Thanksgiving. I purchased a cup of coffee when I entered. When I was done shopping and I get to the check out and that large coffee spilled. I was so embarrassed but they had the mess cleaned up and new cup of coffee in my hand in five minutes. The cashier kept his part going so I paid for my groceries and was on my way. Loosing no time for the people behind me and me leaving feeling like a princess! I spilled the coffee! It was amazing! I love My Hyvee.

Eating in their restaurant doesn't have a server, but it's clean and quiet. Food is good but not amazing. Priced reasonable.

Terrific store. I travel extensively throughout the West and Midwest and Hy-Vee is among the best. Having said that, it’s also among the most expensive, up there with Dierbergs (IL/MO), City Market (CO) and Safeway (MT/ID). Worth it if you can afford it tho for great produce, fresh meats and seafood, etc.
