We had a wonderful experience here. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was sufficient. The concierge, Alfred Martinez, was extremely helpful and treated us with great hospitality. This is our second stay here and this one was better than the last. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

Very nice room layout, clean and modern. Location was convenient to downtown and to Padre Island beaches. Indoor pool nice but could have been a bit warmer. Staff friendly and attentive, especially to my elderly father who needed extra assistance at times.

The rooms were very nice. Two beds large L shaped couch with all the normal things that go in to a hotel room. The only thing that I was looking for and could not find with a USB port to charge my phones. Other cheaper hotel rooms I've stayed in have had them. The breakfast could have been a lot better. There were only eggs sausage and French toast

NO STARS!!!! They cancelled our NON REFUNDABLE booking. Which is now appatantly refundable because they cancelled on us. BUT gave our and others rooms away to people who booked after they cancelled us. They didn't advise us of the cancellation AND stated it was not their responsibility to call us. I hope someone in Hyatt reads this and confronts this hotel because it is unprofessional and gives the Hyatt name a HORRIBLE name. This isn't a "bad breakfast" case. They cancelled on us AND showed NO remorse as they gave our non refundable room away. When it really matters DO NOT go to this hotel.

Some of the staff (2 in particular) provided stellar customer service and tried their best to make things right for our stay. Harold and Ashley took care of us. However, Garrett and Melissa need to take a workshop or have a coaching session in customer service. A deeper understanding of what "hospitality" means is needed with those two. Had Harold and Ashley not gone and above and beyond the call of duty we probably wouldn't have stayed there. Also, I'm pretty sure there were bed bugs. I woke up two night in a row with having multiple bites all over my legs. The hotel is beautiful, and the rooms were clean, (aside from the possible bed bugs) but, that is about it. I strongly recommend investing in training and coaching the staff to have a deeper understanding of what customer service means. I felt like we were disregarded and unimportant. Especially after the fact that we had to wait 2 hours longer then expected to even be able to check in. It's unfortunate we spent $400 for 2 nights and received less then mediocre service from the staff (except Harold and Ashley) I don't think we will stay here again.
