Right off the bat the staff was ultra friendly and laid back..... Maybe too laid back and came off a bit laxidasical. After waiting a bit due to dead battery in tablets to sign waiver. The real waiting began. Group came in ahead of us and it took them a while to get them in the room. Waited some more then another group came in and to our surprise we were told they double booked the room so they told us two groups to decide who wants it. We gave it up in the end and did a different room. Ended up finally getting in 25 mins after our reservation which in turn made us 20 min late for a dinner reservation (took us the entire hr to finally get out) The actual room was decent..... Besides the escape door not working even after correct code. This can be a great place it just appears it's a after thought instead of a serious business.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I thought this was where people went to get scared.... not to get accused/harassed about your sexuality???? “Is she your girl friend or are you gay?? Yep I knew it. Your smile tells me you’re gay”. If the only way you scare people is by falsely accusing them- find a new job. I have been to multiple haunted attractions and never have any of the staff been as rude as the Hysterium staff was. UPDATE: The owner took care of this situation completely. I am thankful that the owner addressed this right away and didn’t waste any time trying to fix this. The damage has been done- but the owner promised it will be addressed and should not ever happen again. As I have been a repeat customer for several years I was disappointed by last night. But after speaking with the owner I will be going back to hopefully have fun like every other year.

It was a lot of fun but was so dark. The concept of the room was really interesting. Very well done and a bit complicated. We definitely will go back!

scary. recommended. get the VIP. the line takes a while. great scenes and costume design. very impressive.

Escape room was ok. But there are much better options in the area. Didn’t really like that the clue system involved people coming into the room as it ruins the immersiveness.
