Awful experience. First my unit was infested with rats and mice. Some off-season clothing I had was ruined along with other fabrics. When I complained, they offered no remedy. I didn't push the issue because I wanted to read my contract. I thought maybe I was responsible for setting poison/traps. Though after further research I found that is incorrect, they have a duty of care to their customers. Further, the main worker is Larry, and the three times I have had to deal with him he reeks of alcohol and has blood shot eyes. He is polite, but not very helpful. I kept getting locked out of the gate. I would pay for multiple months at a time. They would forget to apply my payment each month, call me and say its late, when in fact it wasn't. Finally, the owner is one of the rudest people I have ever met. He is elderly and typically I am very patient and understanding with the elderly, but this man was awful. I met with him because I wanted to upgrade to a bigger unit, despite the mice incident. He pulled my file and wanted to make sure I was current. My account was tracked by several hand written notes and written out math. He tried to say I owned him money, when I did not. I could see where his math was figured wrong but he would not let me talk and get say "I own the place". I finally said if he couldn't perform basic math and would not let me help him solve it then I would just go elsewhere. I consider myself a kind and patient person, I have never been treated so rudely. Apparently because "he owns the place" he feels no need to give respect. I reported the mice/rat  infestation to BBB. Do not use this place. There are several other operations that are ran much better by more organized and polite people.

Customer service is terrible.  Had a unit for 13 months on automatic bill pay. This month(14th) they say they didn't receive the check. After verification with the bank that it was not cashed yet was sent. They are refusing to wave the late fee. I know its not their fault the check was lost, but a little understanding that it wasn't my fault or intention would be nice.

Do not use their storage units. Things will get stolen.
