As a bookseller myself, I spent a lot of time going to book stores while on vacation. I found I Cannot Live Without Books to be the best of the bunch - wide variety of books and very reasonable price. Lew is a terrific book seller - he made our trip that much more fun!

This place has a pretty amazing selection of books, and insanely inexpensive! Love this place.

Shahrokh, one of the owners, was incredibly helpful, accommodating, and a joy to work with. I walked in searching for honey dishes for rosh hashanah, a challah tray (needed a replacement), and a challah cover.

In LA, I'm used to dealing with pushy shop owners who follow me around trying to sell me everything, and it is quite off putting. Shahrokh was not pushy at all and helped me find what I needed at a reasonable price.

Anyway, I ended up walking out with everything I needed and more :) this place is truly a gem, and I will definitely shop here again.
