Deena is the best!!! We did the board and train when Louis was little, and he came back the perfect little gentleman! He's since gone back for regular boarding, and he absolutely loves his days at the farm with Deena and friends. Deena really cares about the dogs, and she knows her stuff! We will be repeat customers for the foreseeable future! TEN OUT OF TEN recommend.
Deena has changed our lives. Our dog, Milo used to severely resource guard any item that he had to the point that he bit my brother's finger really badly. Milo would basically run our house, jump on guests, counter surf, pull on walks. We tried other trainers who were a complete waste of money. My family was at a point where they were ready to get rid of Milo. But I was not going to let that happen, so I did my research and found Deena. We put Milo in her board and train program. After this program, Milo is a changed dog. He's amazing to be around, well behaved and manageable. Now we enjoy having him, love taking him on walks and even to the dog park because he plays so well with other dogs. We can't thank Deena enough for everything she's done for Milo and our family. She is absolutely amazing to work with. She genuinely cares and loves these dogs like there her own. She has even come to our home to make sure that we are supported when it comes to Milo. I would recommend Deena in a heartbeat. Thank you so much Deena!!
My rescue, Benny, has had two stays with Deena and her team, and I can't speak about the experience highly enough! Benny's first stay with Deena was during a move I had to do. Benny stayed for three weeks, and I had updates whenever I asked for them. On week two Deena phoned me herself to chat a bit about her observations, and we game planned some of his return to home. Week three of that stay, Benny opened up to the trainers and staff, and was having a great time! When I picked Benny up, he was of course happy to see me, but he was also significantly more "trainable" than the dog I dropped off. I had such difficulty getting Benny to focus on a treat out doors, so training was challenging for me on my own. When he came back from the first stay with Deena, I had a dog that was so treat-driven, and as a result, way easier to manage on my own. Huge plus! Benny had another 10-day stay with Deena a couple of months later, and he had a blast! When I picked him up, he was happy, tired, and relaxed. Deena is also just such a pleasant person to interact with, and I'm so happy that there's a place and a person with a great team that I can trust with my pup : 10/10. Highly recommend!
Our Maltese Lexie loves Deena - she has stayed at Deena’s twice now and we have had a very positive experience. We have also done some in-home training with Deena which has been very helpful. Lexie is a COVID puppy and now 2 years old - we wish we had heard about Deena earlier and had done training with Deena earlier!
I have been working with Deena for months with my male bulldogge. I just picked him up from his first boarding stent and was beyond impressed. I was a bit anxious to leave him but once I found Deena I knew he would be in great hands. She gave a full report and some tips on how to keep up the good routine. Turns out too we were over feeding and he came back to us a whole new man! I highly recommend all of her services and you can rest assured your dog is in the best hands.
Deena really speaks dog!! After 3 weeks board and train at Deena’s Ollie returned much calmer, more focused on me and less distracted by his environment. He walks much better on a leash and I feel we are at a point, thanks to the training, that we both understand one another a lot better. Ollie is much happier and more confident and I can’t recommend Deena and her team enough!
My dog Tucker went to Deena’s for 3 weeks and it was an amazing experience. He is much better / calmer socializing with other dogs and better behaved in our home. The staff were very professional and did two post board & train sessions with me one at pick up and one with Deena a few weeks later. This was helpful in allowing us to keep up the skills at home. Thanks to Deena and her team for taking such great care of Tucker and helping him break some bad habits!
Our Molly, a tenacious jack russel, spent a few weeks at Deena's in Caledon at the Dog Board and Train programme. We knew she would be a challenge as we had already tried a few other places for training without success. When we got Molly back boy oh boy were we surprised with the results she was so well trained. Deena and her staff did a marvellous job. They showed us their techniques and what we should be doing at home with her to keep up the training. The follow up appointment was great too as Deena then could see how we were progressing with her and gave us more tips on how to continue. We can now walk her without pulling, she doesn't chase cars and there are still some things we need to work on but it is a work in progress. We are so pleased with the results and couldn't be happier to have a well trained Jack. Couldn't recommend a better dog trainer then Deena and her staff. You can tell they love all the dogs that they train and I felt 100% comfortable leaving Molly for three weeks. We love it so much we are also boarding her there when we travel in the future.
Deena Speaks Dog is fantastic. Our dog, Murphy, went for a board and train at Deena's place in Caledon and came back exceptionally well trained. We would highly recommend Deena to anyone looking for help with training!
