I have had vulnerability to neck and back strains since my teens. I had tried many treatment options over the years including Chiropractors and Physical Therapists, but was rarely satisfied. I am not a fan of needles, so trying something like acupuncture was not at all on my radar until I met Dr. Brian Lau. He is very knowledgeable and practical, which allowed me to put my trust in him despite my misgivings about needles as treatment. Whenever I overdo it and pull something I have been exclusively going to Dr. Lau for many years now . He has been on-point and highly effective in resolving these issues. This allows me to put my best into my work (and my workouts) with peace of mind.

Dr. Lau is my go to acupuncturist and I would highly recommend him to anyone with any type of pain or injury. He has treated me on and off now for about 3 years for various musculoskeletal injuries ranging from golfer's elbow, low back pain and a hamstring strain. His knowledge and expertise in Sports Medicine Acupuncture truly shows in the results from his treatments. I can't thank him enough for keeping me at my peak performance.

Dr. Lau (Brian) offers many wonderful services that have reduced my various pains substantially (older sports related issues and newer work stress related issues). He is immensely qualified at what he does, and his overall calm demeanor also helps with the healing process. Even our steady stream of visitors make time for appointments when they come. For example, my mother-in-law recently had several sequential visits on her last trip here and now reports zero knee pain after years of problems. In addition to body treatments (acupuncture, massage, cupping), he has wonderful information about and access to herbs for a variety of ailments to help you heal without the chemicals found in many traditional medicines. I am not opposed to traditional medicines; I think that vaccines, antibiotics, aspirin, etc. are also useful, but I like to try to use natural remedies when possible. As a side note, several insurance companies will pay for acupuncture and other services, usually with just a modest co-pay. Even if you need to pay out of pocket, the rates are very reasonable. If you have tried alternative medicine before without success, I would highly encourage you to give it another try with Dr. Lau. Your body will thank you.
