This place was absolutely amazing!!
My fiancé asked for a1 for his steak and didn’t even touch it..the staff was so amazing as well. We took our 10month old which usually gets fussy during dinner but she was so entertained by everyone that we fully enjoyed it.

Fantastic Nona’s pizza.  Square, perfectly flavor balanced TRUE italian pizza.  Match that with the kindest LOCALLY owned restaurant, appreciative owners, and genuine customer first service.  Come on Wake Forest Heritage folks:  Buy Local so it’s not BYE locale.

Ordered a white pie and a pepperoni pie. The white pie was horrible is was so dry! Real new york style white pies have big drops of ricotta cheese throughout the pizza. This pizza had teeny tiny sprinkles of rocotta. You tasted nothing but bread and mozzarella cheese which made the pizza way to dry. The crust was horrible they should be ashamed to call it new York style. Did not taste like appropriate dough for a pizza . Just tasted like dry bread.

The service was good. But the pizza we ordered looked and tasted like cardboard. The tomato sauce around it was very dry. The cheese was not even melted enough to be supposedly a pizza coming out from the oven. It looked like it was reheated.

I had lunch with a friend here today and we sat outside as I had my two dogs with me. I’m always looking for dog friendly places and this was great! The waitress Denise was very happy to come outside even though it was pretty chilly. She was friendly towards my dogs and brought them a big bowl of water which even had ice cubes in it. The service was good as was the food.. Both animals and humans were made to feel very welcome and we will definitely be going back. Denise was awesome.
