I filed for unemployment Oct 14, 2016 and to date keep getting the run-around.  Finding out that a fax I sent on Oct 28th was never put into the system and NO ONE told me they were still waiting on it! So, now after SEVERAL phone calls to them and being on hold for over 30 minutes each time, I'm told I need a second interview.  It wasn't explained to me why! Then I'm told they still need a note from my doctor. WHAT?! What note? I was LAID OFF work and it had nothing to do with my health.  I just feel like not only are they short-staffed, which one worker told me, but they are not working together as a unit.  Everyone telling me something different every time call.  I am so disappointed in the IDES. I thought they'd be more professional and more knowledgeable.  I've never had to draw unemployment before but I had no idea it'd be this much trouble and take this long!
