Like many place in this part of the strip - a totally understated gem. The coffee was excellent, the staff friendly, super clean place where it’s pleasant to sit. I just wish the advertising was more prominent. It took me too long to find. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes - elevator behind their second door
This place feels very special and intentionally welcoming and warm. Great spot for those looking for community, connection, and good energy. Their cappuccino was solid and the prosciutto toast was very well seasoned and so delicious! Very excited to come back for more.Food: 5/5
What a great find, this multicultural German / Eritrean coffee shop almost flew under my radar, but luckily I gave the place a try. I have no regrets. They have an excellent selection of coffees, a good array of pastries, German "brot" toasts, Eritrean Habesha chicken all with a touch of Eritrean spices. The charming owner has a fascinating background drawing from all of the above cultures. When you visit the shop, it will be a treat to make her acquaintance and learn about her heritage. I enjoyed a latte which had a distinctive coffee flavor as you would expect from Ethiopian beans, where coffee was first originated. The pretzel sandwiches are to die for, a mix of fresh cucumbers and tomatoes along with an accompaniment of your choice, I chose a simple cheese, enclosed in a delicious pretzel bun soft and doughy to the taste. The location on College Ave. was very welcoming with plenty of seating and a subdued selection of music playing. They have an upper loft-like area and a lower table based seating area next to the Barista's area. There is also seating outside on the sidewalk, and the loft area has a bar-like seating looking out onto the street where you can watch the people walk by. The service was very nice, partially by the owner and later by a dedicated barista.
Wonderful neighbor spot for excellent coffee and veggie sandwich. Family friendly and the owner is warm and welcoming. Looking forward to evening hours coming in July!Food: 5/5
A cute little place where you can get a coffee or a small lunch. There’s space to sit down inside. I had a bagel with salmon, I liked it and would recommend.Food: 5/5
What a wonderful place. Friendly staff and ample space for a business meeting or study session in back, yet cozy with cafe tables in the front for an intimate table of 2. There's a nice menu with some delicious Eritrean specialities balancing out the expected breakfast and lunch fare. This is a community oriented space so come and see how happy it is inside.
I love im Moment Kaffee as much as I love Semi, the sweetest cafe owner and barista you could ever meet! Her cafe is my go-to spot for all of my friend dates--I love sitting by the front windows catching up over a cup of latte and turkey sandwich my favorite!. Come in for the good vibes, Semi's smiles, delicious coffee and/or food, there's no way one can go wrong.
Love this place, so nice to have a good coffee shop in the neighborhood. The coffee is delicious and strong, and the people couldn’t be nicer. The pastries and toast are also great to accompany the drinks. This is our new favorite spot!
The coffee here was pretty good. It's an interesting vibe, which resembles a street market scene more than a coffee shop. The owner seems to have regular and people are having loud conversations, literally shouting across the small cafe. No one seems to care if they are being disrespectful to others. Including some of the staff. That said, the owner seemed very nice. But maybe more suited to run a dive bar than a cafe. If you want a loud street scene, this is your place, but if you want to get any reading done or just have a quiet cup of coffee. Look elsewhere. Update: I decided to take off a star for the staff's passive aggressive reply to my review. Saying that "this is not a library" in reply to me talking about my person experience of being disrespected is just not ok... It's Gaslighting. Im moment staff - there's no need to put someone down simply expressing their opinion.
my coffee was good, but the servers were rude and defensive about NOT HAVING WIFI. The lighting is also too dim to do any work. The seating was very limited, and people were talking loudly. Disappointing that this local coffee shop is being managed so poorly.
