They do not take plastic---cash only
They do not put anything around your neck to protect your clothes either during the wash or cut
Some of the wash chairs had to have special care to work properly
The "towel" they use to absorb water after a wash is a bar towel--not even the size of a hand towel
If you walk in without an appointment, they stare at you, talk in low tones while looking  at you and then someone comes over to help you (probably the person who drew the shortest straw)
No communication during the wash or cut
What I was charged was not what I was told when I walked in. 
If you're in a hurry and just want a trim--go somewhere else. If you have a relationship built up it might be different but for a spur of the moment trim you can get better customer service and same low prices somewhere else.

I love this place. Won't let anybody else touch my hair. Leticia did a fantastic job with my color and highlights. She's the only one I trust to touch my hair.

We were given a gift certificate to Imperial Barber. So today Dec.21,2017 I took my boys in to make an appointment for another day with someone who we met that works there. We couldn't remember her name but we figured they help find out her name. We came one person waiting. They came and got him after about 10 to 15 minutes. Then one of the stylest finished their client came up to the desk rang the ticket wrote something down and went back to her station. Never acknowledging us at all. So we sat for another 5 mins or so and a another person came in and was standing by us. A man came from up stairs down to the counter and ask the young could he help him. So he got him taken care of went back to talk to the stylest then came back to desk fumbled with some papers never even looking at us and went back upstairs. By this time it has been at least 30 min if not longer. Another lady came in with her son she signed in and went to set down and wait well they never acknowledged her either so after about 15 min or so she got up scratched her name off and left.The stylist keep talking to each them looking at us. One of the times I could hear one of them say "wonder what they want?". REALLY??? Then the one who had rang her client ticket come up front walked right past us went outside to wave by to her client came back in and back to her station. The longer I sat there the more mad I got. So finally after another 10 mins or so I just told my boys to come on and we left. 
So here I am with a gift certificate to a place with the worst customer service ever. If I did have a lady there that we were able to request, I would be asking for a refund on the certificate. Unless this lady we are requesting is the bomb stylist. I will never go back there after we use our gift certificate. Horrible place!

Just want to say that Heather did a fabulous job on my hair!  The color is perfect and I appreciate her taking me on such short notice since I came to town to visit relatives.  Everyone loves it, Heather!  Thanks so much!
