Inatteso Pizzabar
"The name INATTESO, which means “unexpected” in Italian, comes from the idea of a pizzeria offering you more than you would normally expect. In addition to our Neapolitan and “della nonna” style pizzas, we provide regional classics, pastas “fatta in casa”, and modern interpretations of Italian cuisine. Inatteso also offers a constantly changing Specials menu, where chef Eric Lind and his team utilize the finest seasonal vegetables, seafood, and meats. Always simple, always fresh."

Absolutely incredible! The restaurant had a wonderful ambiance, the food had beautiful flavor and the staff… AMAZING! 10/10Food: 5/5
Despite the location, the restaurant does not feel like a tourist trap. Food was very good - the ragu was meaty, tagliatelle was cooked well, the pizza was well made and well cooked. The bianca sauce was hearty with a great balance of cheese and mushroom flavours. Service was great too!
Very friendly welcoming service from the team. Very different from the grumpy rude guy from last year. Pizzas were huge, of quality and yummy. Great chewy and crunchy crust. Very generous on basil unlike other places that you get 1 leaf as a decoration. Vegan option was avail as well. Snag a window seat area especially at lunch as main dining room seemed too dark. Nice decor all around.
Really good pizza. Very solid crust. The cheese on the margherita was the perfect amount of browned and chewy. The salad either the carro and fennel was tasty. Great patio. the servers were all warm and friendly even though we had a very vocal 2 year old. Will eat againFood: 5/5
This is probably hands down the best pizza and appetizers I have had second to my time in Italy. Great service and phenomenal appetizers, drinks, and food. Thank you for a fantastic meal our first time in New York!
at first bite I knew it was the best tasting pizza I've tried in a long, long time. Their meatballs are auperb, nothing fancy- just savory meatballs. Each ingredient in the pizza is special. Hard to describe. We were pleasantly surprised when we found this place. Compliments to the chef!
Absolutely loved it! It’s a hidden gem! My sister lives few blocks away and she wanted us to try this place and we loved it! The service was absolutely amazing and the food came out fresh and delicious! They have plenty of seating, beautiful bar area, one of the best pizza places in NYC!
Good pizza and food at a slightly pricier given its location. We ordered the Sicilian pizza plain, a whole sheet tray of crisp and soft pizza $26, romano salad $15 and a seasonal Mozzarella di buffula $17. Service was very sub-par if you don't order alcohol. We had to flag down the server for a water refill--which wasn't checked on after food was dropped. Our cards with the check to sign were dropped at the wrong table and were kindly passed over by the guests at the table. All around not the kind of service I would expect for that atmosphere, location and price point. Potentially, understaffed to meet the sudden NY summer day in April. Vegetarian options: There's a plethora of salads, a mushroom special braised in wine with farro, cheese dishes without meat, pizzas without meat Kid-friendliness: Lots of young kids eating with their parents for after school sports meal. Wheelchair accessibility: It's ground level, wheelchairs can pass, sizable space outdoors to seat.
Initially heard of this restaurant through a pizza tour I took. Everyone on the tour raved about the pizza so of course I needed to come back and have the full experience. Coming back was well worth it. The meatballs as an app was *chef’s kiss* and topping off with a sicilian style pizza with pepperoni and basil really made me so happy. Great food and great atmosphere!
Super attentive service. Enough menu options. Delicious good. Inside and outside options.Food: 5/5
