It was one of the best meals in Santa Monica. The service is super great, and the food was AMAZING. Adults and kids loved the food, it was tasty and super delicious. We ordered Samosa, garlic naan, mixed grill, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Curry and white rice. The restrooms and the whole place are clean. Definitely coming back every time we will pass LA/Santa Monica. Kid-friendliness: The staff are super friendly, and when my son could not eat one of the dishes as it was spicy for him, they brought him yogurt and asked him if he needs anything else. My kids loved it. Parking: There are a few spots on the road to park, but there is a paid parking if you wish to dine in. It is not easy to find a parking, but the food and the atmosphere in the restaurant is worth it.
It was such a pleasant experience to dine in here Sunday afternoon! Great food, great service, very friendly and polite staff and a nice modern design. Our waiter recommended Chettinadu Mix Veg for me I’m vegan, and I loved the dish. Also it was so nice of him to give a little complimentary lentil dish to take with us. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask his name.
Sham is an amazing host and the restaurant serves amazing food. Loved the calm atmosphere with Tamil songs.Food: 5/5
Indian spot located on the 2nd level off of Wilshire. When I typed the name in, Google maps took me to the one on Westwood, so make sure you’re putting in the right address if you’re intending to go here. Very limited street parking. Credit cards accepted. They do take reservations but when we went on a Thursday evening at 8pm, it wasn’t necessary. Masks required and they do check proof of vaccination, although they wanted a picture of the card and didn’t accept my digital CA QR code. Food is family style; the tandoori mix grill was a good way to get a variety of meats/seafood. The butter chicken was tasty. The peas pulao was a good complement to that sauce, though I preferred the garlic naan. They do serve alcohol. It’s good for big groups and they had a TV playing music videos inside. They were open fairly late on a weeknight, so it’s a good spot to get some food if you’re in the Brentwood area and get hungry, but don’t have a reservation anywhere.
We had our lunch on 25th June 2022 here. It was really very nice. Hotel is very clean and hygienic. Dishes are very tasty and with good flavour. Enjoyed the service and taste.
The food takes awhile to make but it’s very tasty for the price. The veggies in the appetizer were fried which I didn’t expect, but they were good. One criticism I have because I have been spoiled at other Indian restaurants is that the spices don’t taste freshly ground to me. This makes a big difference in the complexity of the taste for me and thus this is why I can’t in good conscious five 5 stars. That being said, I enjoyed the meal and appreciated the service very much.
Their food is really good and when your order spicy it's actually spicy unlike other places. Their location is kind of difficult to get to you have to go into a building and up the stairs inside but they also do delivery which is nice. Our favorites are the Lamb curry, chicken korma, and all their naans are delicious. Rice is extra but their portions are generous. 1 order of rice is adequate for 2-3 people!
My friends brought me here for my birthday and everything about this restaurant is AMAZING! The staff, food, menu, and location are all perfect. I will definitely be dining here again soon. Very highly recommended.
Not only does this place have the best lamb saag this side of the 405, the man who owns it and all of the staff who operate it are also incredibly kind, sincere, and welcoming. I know that one doesn't spend a lot of time inside a restaurant when they're only picking up a to-go order, but I could tell that the ambiance was really beautiful. It overlooks Brentwood, and the owner is so sweet. You can often find him giving guests free samosas and beverages and just making sure that there stays are as welcome as they can be. They also have a radical lunch special for all the people in the building! It's a little tucked away so if you're having trouble with directions feel free to call them and they can talk you through it, otherwise they just advise you to be right across the 7-Eleven on Wilshire and Barrington.
I haven't been here in years and am so glad that I came back! India's Oven has the best Indian food I've eaten in years! It's a little pricier than other places, but it's worth it! We ordered online for takeout and got our food medium spicy they have four levels - mild, medium, spicy, very spicy. It definitely had a kick! The saag paneer and chicken tikka masala were so flavorful and the garlic naan was perfect! Will definitely be back!
