I like it. It's good, and the people there are really nice. They have lots of activities. Also, it is a very big place. 2 story tall building! They even have a family tree by the elevator! Super Cool!

Recently moved to Darien and love the community. The apartment complex I moved into (Farmingdale) heavily promoted the Library, so I ventured onto their website and was amazed at the free available resources for adults. I've attended several well-instructed seminars and the staff has been extremely accommodating. Thank you for the great service to your community!

Years my husband bought our house in the IPL district before I saw it (does anyone remember those heady days when good houses, fair-priced, disappeared within hours?).  The house was lovely but I would not be satisfied until I visited the local library.  I checked for my favorite authors, not household words, yet, and they were on the shelves. 

Since then I have been very pleased by the level of service, the new offerings, the willingness to help in any searches and requests.  The best library I have ever been privileged to patronize.

Too quick to send you to collections, try sending patrons a notice via phone, email, or mail first. Then once they send you to collections, they tack on any fine they can-just because they can. People are human and occasionally forget to return a book, a simple automated phone call, text, or email would often serve as a friendly reminder to return the book, not being harassed by bill collectors for a simple mistake, you are a library, not a business. For this very reason, I would much rather pay money for books then risk borrowing them from this crappy library system.
