I went to Tax Pros because I really needed a cash advance this year. I usually file on my own. They charged me 300$. My review isn't so much on Indy Tax Pros but on the Bank that operates their Pre Paid Cards. I was not able to have my refund deposited into my bank account it HAD to be on the prepaid card. With this card you have little transparency on what is going on with your money. You get nickeled and dimed at ATMs, even the ones they claim you can use for free. And now my account is frozen and I can't have the situation resolved until Monday and even then I won't have access to my money until they mail me a new card. I have had my money put on hold 3 times by this agency. Tax Pros fees seemed typical of other places, I got my money fast and when they said I would but this pre paid card they work with is absolute trash and a huge headache.

****DO NOT FILE YOUR TAXES HERE WITHOUT KNOWING HOW MUCH THEY ARE GOING TO CHARGE YOU*** 

RATES HERE ARE REDICULOUS!! I was charged close to $$$500 dollars for them to file my taxes. Unlike other places, they do not tell you upfront about the charges! Heck they don't even tell you at all!! Me and my husband filed separately and he filed 1040ez (no kids, no school, no nothing,  I just single) and was  still charged $$$340 bucks! I didn't think to ask, silly me for assuming, but back when I filed with them in 2011 or 2012 it was only $75 then but $500 dang dollars?!?!! They are out of their minds. They showed me what I would be receiving without taking out the charges because they knew if they​ would've showed/told me I would have left! Never again! Not ever again!! And when I called to speak with the lady about it all, she was rude and told me o'well and that I signed for it so too late. SMH.
