The mushroom bisque is amazing — even as someone that typically doesn’t go for mushroom. Entree’s are great, especially the halibut. Great service too! Highly recommend outdoor seating for evening reservations. Perfect atmosphere.
It takes alot to impress me at a Restaurant and Indigenous truly impressed me. Small simple menu, which is how it should be. My wife and I got the Mushroom Soup, Porkchop and Halibut and it was prepared perfectly. Best mushroom I ever had. Tons of flavor in every aspect of the dishes we tried. Inside Atmosphere is a little dark but that makes it a nice place to take a date. It wasn't overly pricey either as some places we have been in Sarasota that we not nearly as good. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Our server, Katie, was an absolute a star! From the moment we walked everything was 10/10! every single thing Katie recommended was phenomenal. The food is super fresh & tasted amazing! My partner and I had the Cesar salad, crudo my favorite , Parmesan beignets for appetizers and for main meal was Red grouper and the pork chop which tasted better than I can ever describe. I can’t say enough good things about this place, whenever in town again this place is at the top of my list! Thank you Katie for taking care of us, love from jersey!
Wonderful selection of wine and beer. The snapper and cobia were fresh. The snapper was the better of the two imo. The cornbread ice cream was interestingly very sweet. The orange gelato was refreshing. Sit outside if possible, a little cramped inside. Dog friendly outside seating. Street parking or pay to park in nearby lot.

So good! Highly recommend coming here. My server was Olivia, and she was outstanding very friendly, helpful and attentive. I got the beignets, mushroom soup and scallops - all of which were AMAZING and very uniquely done! They have a cozy seating layout with an outdoor section as well. There is free street parking, but not many spots. Definitely coming back here to try their other items on the menu since it always changes.
Wow!!! Not much tops the dining experience for New Years than Indigenous!! Great food and service from our lead waitress, Kelcy, and the whole team!!! If you've never tried their amazing meals, you're missing out. Presentation, sweet, savory and delightful olfactory and visual surprises with every course. Great wine options and wonderful cottage vibe. Try the back wine bar or go for a meal. You'll not be disappointed. Reservations usually needed. Some pretty good take out options too if you can't dine in or are in a hurry.

Special and incredible place! The seafood is so delicious, the pickled veggies that come with the Uncle’s burger are amazing, and the popcorn ice cream is just something unreal. Lovely selection of wines from Italy, France, and California.Food: 5/5
This has been, and continues to be, my favorite restaurant in Sarasota. Atmosphere is so comfortable, not pretentious at all, and the food never disappoints, from the standard offerings to the super creative daily dishes. They're beautiful, they taste amazing, and the whole vibe is unique. Just keep it going!Food: 5/5
