It was a great place for the bridal shower of my friend. It was quiet/cozy, the teas were great and the salad & tea sandwiches were delicious. They were very accommodating for a couple of us who were not in the original count. It was a fun time at a different kind of location. Loved all their merchandise as well. I'm planning on returning to enjoy it all again! Only thing of concern is that there's only 1 bathroom for men and 1 for women, but it's not a major problem.

Lovely place! Friendly staff, good food (I had one of the burritos) and tasty tea. Will definitely go here again when in the neighborhood.

This was the worst excuse for "afternoon tea" ever! It took longer to drive there than to eat the meager amount of food offered up as tea for two. The food consisted of two small quarters of a cucumber and cream cheese sandwich that did not reach the edges of the bread. Cucumber being such a cheap food, one would expect to get enough cucumber to cover a quarter piece of crustless sandwich bread. There were also two quarter pieces of some kind of nut loaf with, again, a small smear of some kind of topping that didn't reach the edges. What counted as the third tea sandwich was another--this time, open-faced--quarter piece of bread with a small smear of topping. The so-called "scone" was a dark, over-baked, brick that could not have been made with butter, since it lacked flavor, and had not a pinch of salt, so it lacked balance. The "clotted cream" that came with it looked like no such thing, so I asked what it was, and was told, "It's clotted cream, which is butter with a little cream cheese and powdered sugar mixed in." I merely said, That's not clotted cream, and let it go at that. I felt the corpses of millions of Brits rolling over in their graves. Along with all this bounty came two chocolate chip cookies. How that was a better choice for a tea service than, say, a shortbread cookie, is beyond me. We were not brought any milk for our tea, so we had to wait until the gal at the counter stopped talking on her cellphone, so I could go up and ask for some. Why, you ask, didn't we get some from our server? Why is, because no one ever came to check on us. I should note that, had we been there to enjoy a salad, the quantity of greenery under the tea sandwiches would, indeed, have been ample for two. We drank every last dreg of tea in our pot on order to fill up on something!

A relaxed environment. All the food can be prepared with those with dietary restrictions like gluten. Early Grey cream was lovely. The staff was friendly.

I have been driving pass this spot for years and never stopped-in; until after returning back from a 6-month trip from Thailand. So perhaps, my taste-buds have changed since; as the food seemed very bland. What I can say is, the atmosphere was very nice. It has a similar charm, yet unique in it's own way to that of Cracker Barrel. Staff was friendly, great location, restaurant was clean; including the bathrooms. Next time in town, I will be certain to stop-by and give it one more try. As the place really does have potential and worth a visit if you happen to be in the area.
