One receptionist in particular is very rude. She ordered me to do something in a bossy, rude tone. She was not friendly at all. Question for the director- Why make the receiptionists responsible for opening the facility to clients when they're consistently late. Clients have to wait outside the building during the scheduled time of their appointment. So unprofessional.

Best mental health that I've ever had. The staff is very attentive

Housed and supported a known rapist and did not report to police or authorities. A simple report might have saved dozens of girls from being hurt. Abuse should never be ignored ever. Shame on this institution, it should be shut down for its unethical methods. Potential patients and families NEED to read about this place's history and their penchant for sexual abuse. A simple Google search will steer you away from this unethical place and towards a more professional place of mental health help.

Disgusting to hear that your institute harbored & hide a rapist. I truly hope that your institute is not still covering the church's shame. What happened to your hippocratic oath? "First Do No Harm." By hiding that monster & not speaking up...your institute allowed those priests to harm all those girls.

The Institute of Living was a very good experience for me overall. The staff was very pleasant and genuinely cared for their patient's needs. I was evaluated then admitted into the hospital without any problems. The doctors were very clear on my diagnosis and treatment plan inside and outside the facility. The daily schedule was very helpful and kept all the patients engaged while also keeping things orderly. I wanted to give the facility five stars but I'd have to say my biggest problem was the food. They allow you to pick anything you want off menus but more than half of the time you don't get what you want. It was extremely frustrating and unfair to the patients.
