Will not be using this place again. I scheduled a massage for. My wife and I 2 weeks ago and on the day of the massage an hour before it was to happen they call and say they can't do it because the student weren't trained in hot stone massage yet. They did offer to do a regular massage instead. If they had given me more notice I wouldn't be leaving this review but an hour notice is unacceptable.

Integrative Bodywork School of Massage is the best! I was a student at the former Central Pennsylvania School of Massage and I still come by to get massages by the current students in the student clinic. Being a massage therapist myself, I am very picky with the massages I want to get. I can honestly say that I have never had a bad massage from the students at this school. They are taught to be very professional and give the best massages. All of the instructors are extremely knowledgeable at what they are teaching and are fantastic at what they do(you can even get massages from them in the professional clinic). No matter what you are looking to do, whether it be to get a massage or to be a student at the school, give them a call and talk to them. I promise you that you will not regret it.

Cutting to the chase, this is a rave review. Aaron P. (the Director of the Integrative Bodywork School of Massage Therapy in State College, PA) provides exceptional deep tissue and Thai-style massage.  I chalk this up to the fact that he loves what he does and constantly studies and teaches in addition to practicing.  About a year ago, Aaron introduced me to Thai Massage.  Thai Massage is unique and, for me, remarkably effective at releasing muscular stress and pain and cultivating an overall sense of energy and wellness. It’s almost like Yoga, but your body and your muscles are pushed farther than you could on your own.  The experience is intense because the stretches take big muscle groups to their limit.  But, WOW are the results amazing.  I complete the massage feeling more flexible, energized and maybe even taller than before the therapy.
