Get your taxes done somewhere else... The owner, Floyd did our taxes initially, so we went back when we needed to refile due to additional income that was not reflected in the first filing. He redid our federal taxes but didn't redo the state. My husband asked point blank, "Don't we need to do state too?" Floyd said "We will worry about that if the state contacts you. It didn't make sense to us, but we figured, he's the professional, he knows what he is doing. Fast forward 4 years and we get a bill from the state for $1,800 in back taxes plus $1,300 in fines and interest. We tried contesting the fines and interest, but the state said we a liable because we should refiled state when we did federal. Thanks Floyd...
