Story

The International Institute Of Tolerance was founded on the principle of Justice and Equity. It’s mission is to create a forum of discussion and exchange by both clergy and laymen, with the sole purpose of building bridges of Peace and Tolerance; and to create services for the wider community. Since opening its doors in 2007, IIT has held both religious, educational, interfaith, counseling, marriage and burial services and programs for the community. I feel compelled to write about my experience at this place of worship. But unfortunately the Management in particular (Imam) Ashraf are beyond disappointment. The expectation for a leader of a religious organization is typically higher. However, Ashraf does not meet the minimum. His demeanor and arrogance does not reflect Islam. His insecurities and personal flaws reflect in his speech and the language he uses. As a follower of Islam I've come to understand that unfortunately personalities like Ashraf exist. And what is more unfortunate is that they somehow acquire positions of authority. But not all followers of Islam are blinded by the mask they wear. I am advising that current and future followers be aware and take what Ashraf says with a grain of salt. He is truly a stain to Islam. Islamic institutes are not supposed to be a business but he runs the institute for his personal benefit. No one should entrust his or her hard earned money to person like Ashraf he is what we call a "Jasus" a "Munafiq".

If you are a follower of true Islam then this Masjid is the place for you. Amazing Imam, great management, beautiful atmosphere, and always a great feeling to be an attendee at this Masjid.

This is a nice mosque. They have daily salat and jumma. The international institute of tolerance is the name of the masjid. It is in Carson, very near from torrance and gardena. Southern california in the los angeles county.
