Holy rat hole Batman!  Nonsmoking room smells of smoke.  Chair is so gross i was affraid to sit on it for fear of catching a disease.  Shower rod fell off the wall.  Grease of some kind dripping from the range hood.  Chunk of weather stripping missing from the door so big you can fit your hand outside.  Cigarette burns on the bed cover.  Someone elses cloths left in the closet.  
And the best, the microwave literally almost exploded!  Sparks flew.  When i told the front desk  the maintenance person just wipped the inside.  When I called them on it they just took a microwave from another room and put it on the desk, didn't even take the dangerous one away.

My room was dirty when I arrived and there was no toilet paper in the room. Also there was only a half used bottle of shampoo sitting on the counter.
