Ironhorse is a Motorcycle Exclusive Resort Destination near all the great roads of western North Carolina. Minutes from the "Tail of the Dragon",Cherohalla Skyway, Blue Ridge Parkway, Foothills Parkway, Wayah Rd, Smoky Mtn. Parkway.

I love this place. The owners and staff are great. beautiful location and facilities, good food, good prices, great staff,  and some of the best motorcycle riding in the United States. Just a short distance from the Dragon but there are many, many roads, some much better than 129. I highly recommend Iron Horse.

You stay here because you’re on a motorcycle and want to be in the middle of motorcycle riding heaven and don’t want to sacrifice comfort for it. The staff was friendly and always smiling. The scene from our balcony watching the sunset was perfect. Food, they got that covered with breakfast and dinner on sight and filling. FYI it’s byob and the closest place to pick up booze is 20-30 minutes away so pick it before you get back. Also, the WiFi could be better but really who cares when you’re in motorcycle heaven.

Really had an awesome experience. Had a bon fire every night. Went to sleep to the sounds of a trickling brook. Camped under the stars. Met nice people from all over. Rode our motorcycles all over TN and NC boarder. Very memeralble trip. Perfect weather. Slept well every night. Put your order for breakfast the night before and had a nice breakfast the next day. Showers were great. Some evenings they had fried cod and dinner but from what I remember it was only two or three nights they offered dinner. Can even book a massage after a long day of riding. Can't wait to go back.

Best campground I've been to. The prices are great too. Very adorable to just pop in for the weekend. I will be back for sure.

Very accommodating, affordable, clean and well kept from bath house to the lodge, dinning hall out to the camp site. Extremely and helpful staff always looking to help out. Located at the center of many attraction. If your looking for a nice place to stay check out the Iron Horse Motorcycle Lodge.
