As I entered the Irving gas station bathroom at around 10:00pm last night, I noticed something very off. The ceiling fan was vibrating, vibrating in such a way that it put me in a state of trance. I was disoriented by the rolling, resonating vibrations, and found myself in a deep state of discomfort in a place not intended for such a sensation. I was here to urinate, to relieve my body of its woeful human burdens, to be in a place of serene privacy for a few precious seconds before heading out to brace the cold, uncaring world. My sense of being, nay, my sense of self, was assaulted by this new and strange sensation. What did these vibrations mean? How much time had passed? Was the world outside the bathroom still the same? I stepped out of the bathroom, confused and speechless, unable to make a full coherent sentence for about a minute. I was still here. I went and immediately spoke with the cashier about the bathroom, and found to my curious delight that he agreed. He even noted the feeling of disorientation and time passing, which I had not shared with him beforehand. If you are passing by this gas station at any time of the night, and I do say night because it is very important, please do make the stop to experience the inner quivering that may very well tear a person's sense of self to shreds. It is an experience to be had by all. Fellow motorists, do exercise caution while operating a motor vehicle after using said bathroom. God speed, to all of you. And good night.
