Story

The magnificent building of the Islamic Center of Greater Toledo sits at the edge of Interstate 75 and at the entrance to Toledo and symbolizes the diversity that has come to characterize our city.

Members from 23 nationalities attend the Islamic Center of Greater Toledo, but its main claim to fame is its equal and vibrant representation of women and the democratic and constitutional processes that the Center diligently follows.

Mission

The Islamic Center of Greater Toledo is a birth-to-death resource; it has a full-time Islamic School on its premises and it provides a variety of religious, educational and cultural activities for its members and for the greater Toledo community.

Amazing place. The building is absolutely beautiful and everyone there is extremely kind. The mosque does a lot of events with their school for kids and with other religions. There are discussions, lectures, and classes for all ages every Sunday. The mosque is really good with accepting visitors and teaching about the mosque and Islam.

We stopped here for jummah.  The masjid is beautiful and well kept, MashAllah.  The stain glass windows with the calligraphy is a unique feature here.  Regular attendees are friendly and welcoming.

The masjid structure is beautiful. Unfortunately, the adherence to the sunnah is lacking, as it usually is in most large beautifully structured masaajid. The people seem to be warm and friendly. May Allah ta'Ala guide the muslims back to the sunnah. Ameen.

Very, very fine people. I curiously took a chance and stopped by late in the day midweek on a whim. I introduced myself (me, a total stranger)and was welcomed graciously. They were kind, courteous, and spoke to me as a brother. They showed me around their impressive building and were glad to answer to my curious nature. It was a good opportunity reach out and to learn new things and to foster peace and understanding among my neighbor and fellow man.
